Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in preparing accurate project cost estimates, analyzing bids, and supporting project planning efforts. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing your expertise in pricing, negotiation, and project management to contribute to successful project execution. The Construction Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure competitive and precise estimates that align with project goals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction cost estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project scope documents.
• Utilize estimating software such as Bluebeam to develop accurate pricing models.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and material pricing to determine project costs effectively.
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather competitive bids and negotiate pricing terms.
• Assist in the development of bid proposals and presentations for clients.
• Review project plans to identify potential risks or cost-saving opportunities.
• Support project management teams throughout the bidding process and during project execution as needed.
• Maintain organized records of all estimates, bids, and related documentation for future reference.

Skills

• Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam is required
• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing with vendors and subcontractors.

Pay: $32.00-$42.00 per hour
