- Position: WATER RESOURCES CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIST

Description: Key Responsibilities
- Work with engineers and senior technologists to complete the design and drafting of civil and water resource infrastructure. Projects may involve earthworks, dams, canals, pipelines, site grading, and drainage systems.
- Complete field surveys utilizing RTK GPS equipment. Duties may include topographic survey, bathymetric survey, ROV survey, construction layout surveys, and quantity surveys.
- Complete site inspection and resident engineering duties throughout the construction phase of projects. Responsibilities may include residenting, inspections, daily reporting, quantity takeoffs, and ensuring work is in accordance with Drawings and Specifications.
- Work closely with engineers, technologists and project managers to successfully deliver civil/water resource projects from conceptual design to construction.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
- 0–5 years of experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other drafting software.
- Proficiency with GPS survey technology.
- Interest or experience in Water Resources would be considered an asset.
- Previous field work considered an asset.
- Being registered or being eligible for registration with Technology Professionals Saskatchewan (TPSK).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and can work in a team environment.
- Show an aptitude for general construction methods.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work in the field for extended periods of time.
