What you will do:
- Assist the Marketing Manager, Categories in identifying growth opportunities and developing strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute marketing campaigns that enhance product visibility and sales.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behaviour and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for category growth.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for product categories, providing insights and guidance on marketing best practices.
- Help oversee the marketing calendar, ensuring timely execution on marketing activities and campaigns.
- Utilize data analytics to inform marketing strategies and measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Provide detailed analytics and present reports and strategic recommendations to the Marketing Manager and senior leadership.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to pivot projects and strategies based on evolving business needs and priorities.
What you will bring:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing or a related role
- Undergraduate degree or college diploma is required
- Demonstrated track record in developing effective marketing assets and implementing integrated campaigns
- Excellent presentation skills
- Experience working directly with third party creative agencies
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Experience with offline, online and interactive marketing strategies
- Strong analytical, project management and execution skills
- Strong communication, organizational and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous deadlines and work in a self-directed or team environment
- Strong sense of urgency on all deliverables
