About the role
Lead the planning, execution, and strategic alignment of company events and marketing initiatives. Oversee a team of coordinators and assistants, manage budgets, and drive innovation in branding and campaign strategy. Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-impact brand experiences and ensure continuous improvement through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee strategic planning and delivery of internal, client-facing, and community events (10–500+ attendees).

Approve and manage event and merchandise budgets, including forecasting and post-event analysis.

Direct merchandise strategy for employee programs and company store.
-
Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns in alignment with sales goals.
-
Lead content development for web, email, signage, and video.
-
Collaborate on digital content, social media, and branding across platforms.
-
Represent marketing in cross-departmental meetings and strategic planning sessions.
-
Drive innovation and continuous improvement through campaign reviews and data insights.

Lead and mentor the team members
-
Conduct annual performance reviews and compensation assessments.
-
Manage relationships with vendors and external partners.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field.
-
5+ years in marketing and event management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
-
Proven success managing large-scale events and merchandise programs.
-
Strong understanding of marketing strategy, branding, and campaign execution.
-
Experience with project management tools, CRMs (Salesforce), online storefronts, and analytics platforms.
-
Skilled in content planning, performance reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
-
Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Suite.
-
Commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Practical experience/knowledge of the construction and/or environmental services industry is an asset.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time, in-office role.
- Occasional evening and weekend work required for event execution.
- Travel required between company locations and event venues.
