We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Coordinator, Facilities Maintenance to join our Design, Development & Construction Team in Langley, BC.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Facilities Maintenance, you will be responsible for for coordinating day-to-day maintenance services for retail stores, warehouses, and offices. In this role, you will help troubleshoot building and equipment issues, conduct facility inspections, and ensure timely, cost-effective solutions with a customer-first approach.

You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting facilities maintenance site audits, including occasional out-of-town travel.
  • Coordinating building and equipment repairs, emergency store repairs, and urgent overtime repairs.
  • Providing ongoing support to retail stores regarding building systems, equipment, and critical incidents (e.g., power outages, generator rentals, water leaks, hot water issues, and refrigeration repairs).
  • Reviewing and approving quotes, service contracts, and new service providers.
  • Ensuring cost control through multiple quotes and RFQ projects.
  • Maintaining detailed and comprehensive records of repairs and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Supporting leaders with new program initiatives, and RFP projects.
  • Working closely with planning, construction, and real estate teams to set up preventive maintenance services for new stores.
  • Collaborating with the property management team to determine lease repair responsibilities.
  • Setting up and managing preventative maintenance programs for newly built and renovated stores.
  • Overseeing insurance related incident repairs & administration.
  • Providing general office support including workstation adjustments and temperature control requests, etc.
  • Assisting with office moves and support construction-related projects.

You have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a relevant field.
  • Working knowledge of construction, fire suppression, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC systems, building automation, and elevating devices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with work order management systems.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel on an as needed basis.
  • Availability to support after hours emergency support.

Compensation Details:

$66,292.00 - $82,865.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
