What You'll Do;

As a Application Support Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the stability and day-to-day operation of Sporting Life Group's ERP Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (D365 F&O) and integrated retail systems by monitoring system health, resolving incidents, supporting batch and integration processes, and ensuring data integrity across core retail ERP modules.

Within this role you will partner closely with business, functional, and technical teams to troubleshoot issues, support releases, and maintain reliable operations during peak retail periods, requiring strong ERP knowledge, SQL skills, and an understanding of retail business processes.

  • Conduct daily health checks and continuous monitoring of SLG ERP applications and integrated systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Address and resolve support tickets in a timely manner, adhering to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Troubleshoot application and integration issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Serve as a key communication link between business users, functional teams, developers, and technical support groups, facilitating effective collaboration and problem resolution.
  • Raise complex problems to appropriate technology and business teams, escalating as necessary to ensure resolution.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and recover ERP batch jobs and integration pipelines, ensuring timely completion of retail-critical processes.
  • Troubleshoot Data Management Framework (DMF) jobs in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, including data imports, exports, and recurring integrations.
  • Configure and maintain selected D365 F&O functional settings (e.g., parameters, workflows, and reference data) to support minor change requests.
  • Manage and troubleshoot user roles, duties, and privileges within D365 F&O
  • Perform data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting to validate ERP data integrity across integrated systems.
  • Provide support during peak retail periods and participate in on-call or extended support rotations as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing recurring incidents, proposing process or configuration changes, and working with functional/technical teams to implement them.
  • Document production issues, actions taken, and resolutions in accordance with support team policies and procedures.
  • Support release management activities including deployment validation, go-live support, post-release monitoring, and hyper care.

What You'll Bring;

  • Minimum University or College diploma in Computer Science/Engineering, or an acceptable combination of education and relevant experience required.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience supporting and maintaining applications and Integrations
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations.
  • Experience supporting core ERP modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Retail Store operations
  • Hands-on experience with Data Management Framework (DMF) in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, including data entities, import/export projects, and recurring integrations.
  • Strong understanding of batch job processing, including monitoring, troubleshooting failures, and managing job dependencies.
  • Experience working with LCS (Lifecycle Services) for environment monitoring and issue tracking
  • Experience supporting integrations between ERP, and E-commerce platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and other 3rd party applications.
  • Proficient in SQL, with the ability to write queries for data analysis and support application troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Salesforce applications is nice to have
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Familiarity with a Retail Business and Retail ERP systems is very desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with incident and problem management processes.
