We are looking for someone with a demonstrated passion for investment management! As a member of the Global Equities team, the candidate will conduct fundamental research analysis covering the Technology sector and will work collaboratively with the team to support their bottom-up, fundamental research process. In addition, the candidate will contribute to the continuous improvement of our ESG integration process. The candidate will be involved in interactions with the firm's various stakeholders, such as clients, consultants, and companies.
Your responsibilities
- Be responsible for the development and maintenance of fundamental investment research, including preparing financial models, conducting ESG analysis, and producing investment theses primarily in Technology sector while remaining flexible to cover additional sectors as needed. Coverage includes all developed and emerging markets outside of Canada;
- Work closely with investment team on all aspects of the investment process and actively participate in the monitoring of portfolio holdings and sector developments;
- Participate in due-diligence requirements including interfacing with corporate executives, conducting site visits, analyzing industry and company data, developing, and maintaining financial models, writing research;
Your profile
- An engineering undergraduate degree or finance/accounting degree;
- A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience relevant to research and analysis for a Technical relevant firm and/or portfolio management, ideally covering the Technology sector;
- A CFA designation, or working toward the CFA designation;
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, Bloomberg or FactSet.

Pay range information
The base salary range for this role is CAD 78,000.00 – 116,000.00 in addition to bonus, health or benefits, and any other discretionary benefits offered at Addenda. Our base salary ranges are based on role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by the skills, experience, internal equity and impact you bring to the role.
