The Customer Experience Representative (CER) plays a key role in delivering an exceptional end to end experience for our Dufferin customers. As the first point of contact, the CER is responsible for accurately entering orders, troubleshooting job site issues, and ensuring seamless delivery execution. This includes dispatching trucks and coordinating closely with internal teams to support safe, timely, and efficient service. The CER also supports day to day administrative tasks and contributes to departmental improvement initiatives

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive customer orders and inquiries via phone, email, and text message.
  • Accurately enter new orders, changes, and updates into the operating system.
  • Provide clear, proactive communication to customers regarding delivery timing, updates, and adjustments.
  • Ensure customers are satisfied with products, services, and the overall delivery experience.
  • Dispatching and scheduling same day and next day orders to optimize trucking and resource utilization.
  • Monitor on time delivery performance and address issues promptly.
  • Troubleshoot delivery, service, and job site concerns, providing real time solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors regarding changes and cancellations.
  • Work closely with Scale Operators and Sales teams to ensure commitments can be met.
  • Support and promote CRH digital solutions (Customer Portal, E ticketing, TREAD, Website).
  • Participate in new initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Anticipates customer needs and delivers exceptional service.
  • Works cooperatively across teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Effectively manages shifting priorities, ambiguity, and change.
  • Follows best practices to provide consistent, high quality customer experience.
  • Maintains a high standard of conduct with internal and external stakeholders

Requi****rements:

  • Secondary School Diploma or equivalent experience in a business or customer focused environment.
  • Strong knowledge of aggregate products, market geography, and product applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Earth, and web based systems.
  • Prior Dispatch experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high volume, fast paced, and time sensitive environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and multi tasking ability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional and customer focused approach.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Safety oriented mindset
