Role: Senior Project Manager Bilingual EN/FR Location: Montreal, CA Type: Contract Work Model: Hybrid (3 days WFH)
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a critical workstream within a large-scale post-merger integration program in the Financial Services sector. This role requires a strong leader who can step into a fast-paced, complex environment, quickly establish credibility, and drive execution across multiple stakeholders and teams. The ideal candidate is highly adaptable, an excellent communicator, and skilled in stakeholder management, influence, negotiation, and cross-functional coordination. Key Responsibilities Own and manage a key integration workstream, including planning, execution, reporting, and delivery. Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reports, communication plans, and project documentation. Coordinate and manage activities across multiple teams and stakeholders. Facilitate project team meetings, steering committee discussions, and executive-level updates. Monitor project scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and resource allocation. Drive stakeholder engagement, alignment, and decision-making at all levels, including senior leadership. Support PMO best practices, lessons learned, process improvements, and governance activities. Lead ad hoc workstream deliverables and ensure successful project outcomes. Required Qualifications Extensive experience in Project Management experience delivering complex business and technology initiatives. Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects/workstreams. Strong experience working in Agile environments. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority. Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively with senior leadership and executive teams. Strong business acumen and experience delivering business-driven initiatives. Technical Skills Must Have Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project. Intermediate to advanced experience with Google Workspace (Google Suite). Strong project reporting, planning, and governance experience. Nice to Have RPA/UiPath experience. Reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Experience with Workday and/or Salesforce. Preferred Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong relationship-building, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables. Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. PMP or other Project Management certification is an asset. Key Deliverables Workstream ownership and execution. Project plans, RAID logs, and status reporting. Steering committee and executive reporting. Stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination. Risk, issue, dependency, and change management. PMO governance and continuous improvement activities.
