The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Coordinator to support two high-performing teams: Canadian Development and Valuations & Investment Analytics. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys bringing structure to complex workflows, and can effectively manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders.
You will play a critical role in supporting development projects across their full lifecycle while also enabling the Valuations & Investment Analytics team through coordination, reporting, and process support. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to both the execution and analytical sides of a leading real estate investment platform.
The role will be based out of 1 York St., Toronto, and will be reporting to both the Managing Director, Head of Canadian Development and the Principal, Head of Valuation & Investment Analytics. The candidate is expected to be in the office four days a week, on average, with permission to work from home at the discretion of their manager.
What You Will Do:
Project & Team Coordination

Support development projects across all stages, including due diligence, design, permitting, construction, and close-out

Track project milestones, deliverables, and documentation to support timely execution

Maintain organized project files, including contracts, budgets, and key records

Support preparation of portfolio and fund-level materials and reporting
Procurement, RFP & Contracts
-
Coordinate RFP/RFQ processes across Development and Valuations, including preparation, issuance, and response tracking

Review submissions and support bid comparisons
-
Draft and coordinate execution of consultant and valuation engagement agreements
-
Track key contractual obligations and maintain contract records in internal systems (e.g., Yardi, Vendor Café)
Vendor, Billing & Budget Coordination

Support vendor onboarding and act as a point of contact for vendor inquiries
-
Coordinate invoice processing and track costs against approved budgets
-
Monitor billing schedules and contract compliance, addressing discrepancies as needed

Assist with budget setup, reporting, and project close-out
Valuation & Reporting Support

Support quarterly valuation cycles by tracking timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder inputs

Maintain organized valuation records and coordinate information flow across internal teams and external consultants

Assist in preparing reports and presentation materials for senior leadership
Team Operations & Administration

Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, agendas, and minutes

Support communication and coordination across internal teams and external partners

Maintain team documentation, processes, and shared resources
-
Provide general administrative and coordination support across both teams
Who You Are:
-
3–5+ years of experience in a coordinator, project support, or administrative role within real estate, finance, or a related field
-
Exposure to commercial real estate development, investment management, or valuations is an asset
-
Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across teams
-
Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage complex documentation and maintain structured files
-
Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with Yardi or similar systems is an asset
-
Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership

Anticipates needs and reduces administrative burden on senior team members

Keeps projects, processes, and reporting running smoothly and on schedule

Additional Information:
Compensation:
- The expected base pay range for this role is $73,000 - $92,000 annually, reflecting the location of the position and the scope of responsibilities, including portfolio complexity. Compensation may also vary based on each candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, in alignment with BGO’s commitment to recognizing individual contributions.
- In addition to base salary, eligible employees participate in incentive compensation programs tied to both individual and business performance, along with a comprehensive suite of competitive health & retirement benefits that support employees in building rewarding and sustainable careers at BGO.
