We are currently hiring a Service Manager to support our Belle River & Amherstburg branch teams.

The Service Manager is a key leadership role within Libro Credit Union, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day service delivery and operational efficiency of the branch. The Service Manager is primarily focused on leading and developing the Service Representative team, ensuring exceptional Owner experience and operational excellence. The Service Manager's primary mandate is to drive efficiency in service delivery, support transactional excellence, and manage frontline operations.

The Role

  • Provide direct leadership and daily management to Service Representatives, ensuring high-quality service delivery and Owner satisfaction.
  • Drive operational efficiency through clear processes, effective use of technology, and streamlined workflows.
  • Ensure branch operational standards, compliance requirements, and cash management protocols are consistently met.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the service team.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration with various departments.
  • Monitor and maintain branch operational compliance, ensuring all policies, processes, and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Oversee cash management, balancing, and transactional activities to ensure efficiency and minimize risk.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for operational improvement and increased service efficiency.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for service escalations within the branch, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Promote a high standard of personalized service, ensuring the branch delivers a consistent, welcoming Owner experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in business, finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience within a financial services or customer service environment with proven ability to lead and develop frontline service teams.
  • Strong experience in managing operational processes, compliance, and cash management.
  • Strong understanding of peresonal banking products, services and Owner needs.
  • Experience working within a credit union or cooperative banking environment preferred.
  • A passion for helping people grow their financial well-being.
