Reporting to the Director of Purchasing, the Primary Packaging Traceability Coordinator will be responsible for Overall responsibility for the management of primary packaging materials and other raw materials as required for Plants 2,3,4 and 6 to ensure required traceability throughout the production process.

Shift: Mon – Fri, 4:00 pm to 12:30 am (Flexibility to work overtime, work on weekends as required.) What's in it for you?

What You Will Be Doing

  • Primary packaging management of inbound and outbound materials.
  • Support all four production facilities ensuring correct packaging is allocated to each plant.
  • Manages and investigates discrepancies in scanning/inventory at both receiving and use in production.
  • Reconciliation of primary packaging expected use to actual use as determined through manually recorded quantities and system (Cyborg)
  • Manages monthly traceability exercises to ensure traceability is being maintained.
  • Maintain scales, printers and monitors in working condition.
  • Policies, Processes & Procedures
  • Adhere/comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum three years of experience required;
  • Working knowledge of food and meat plant regulatory standards (CFIA, etc.), GMP, HACCP, BRC, food safety, food quality, etc.;
  • Team-player with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work / excel in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective multi-tasking is essential;
  • Analytical, with problem-identification and problem-solving capabilities;
  • General Computer Skills (e.g. MS Office)
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Fork life license
