About the Role

ThePrincipal Technical Lead – Productis responsible for owning the technical architecture, engineering execution, and product delivery of the platform. This role serves as the primary technical authority for the platform, ensuring product vision is translated into scalable, reliable, and high-quality software systems.

This position requires a highly experienced technical leader who can balance product, business, and engineering tradeoffs while maintaining hands-on involvement in development.

ThePrincipal Technical Lead – Productwill guide development teams, establish architectural standards, and ensure production features are delivered efficiently and consistently.

The ideal candidate is a builder who has successfully launched real customer facing products, understands consumer platforms and payment systems, and can move quickly in an early stage product environment while maintaining system integrity and scalability

What You’ll Do

-**Own the Platform:**Lead and evolve the technical architecture of the platform, ensuring systems are scalable, reliable, and aligned with product vision. -Translate Vision into Systems: Convert product strategy and business requirements into clear technical roadmaps and engineering execution plans. -**Lead Engineering Execution:**Guide development teams to deliver high-quality production features consistently and efficiently. -**Architect Core Systems:**Design and oversee implementation of key platform components including payments, marketplace functionality, and social platform features. -**Stay Hands-On:**Contribute directly to the codebase, solve complex engineering challenges, and support critical development efforts when needed. -**Build Engineering Standards:**Establish and maintain development best practices, architectural consistency, and high standards for code quality. -**Mentor and Develop Teams:**Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineers while helping grow a strong engineering culture. -Balance Product and Technology: Evaluate technical, product, and business trade-offs to support smart and strategic product decisions. -**Deliver with Discipline:**Drive engineering initiatives forward, prioritize effectively, and ensure production features are delivered on tight timelines.

What You Bring

• Extensive experience designing and building production software systems used by real customers.

• Proven leadership experience guiding programming teams and technical initiatives in product-driven environments.

• Strong technical architecture and system design capabilities for scalable platforms.

• Hands-on development experience with the ability to contribute directly to complex engineering work.

• Experience translating product vision into scalable, maintainable technical systems.

• Demonstrated ability to balance product goals, engineering constraints, and business priorities when making technical decisions.

• Experience building and launching real customer-facing products rather than only internal or enterprise systems.

• Familiarity with scalable cloud infrastructure and modern backend architecture.

Work Conditions:

• This position is a full-time, 40hr/week requirement

• On-site requirement

• Flexibility to work overtime to meet deadlines as required
