This Spring Internship is from January 12, 19 or 26, 2026 through April 24th, 2026 (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 10-29 hours/week, in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in continuing their education through professional experience.
The Canadian Digital Distribution team is responsible for driving transactional digital film and television revenue (EST/VOD) for SPE’s portfolio of content across Canadian digital retailers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist account managers in documenting retailer capabilities and competitive strategies, and building out “playbooks” on these subjects to be used and updated in the long-term;
Monitoring digital storefronts/streamers to ensure retailer compliance on new release/promotional placement & pricing and SVOD/AVOD platforms window compliance;
Analytical support to update platform cannibalization rates, new release sell-down rates, and assess internal/competitive promo performance;
Administrative support to facilitate price testing, promotional analysis, and day-to-day account management;
Assistance with ad-hoc reporting and analytical requests.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with multiple levels of management
- Ability to influence process improvement and innovation
- Self-motivated and dedicated to performing above expectations
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize successfully
- Demonstrable analytical and mathematical skills with exceptional facility with MS Excel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled in school or university during the duration of the internship with relevant education in a related field
- Demonstrable knowledge of and interest in entertainment business models and the digital media landscape
- Passion for film and television content
- Understanding of general product strategy
- Pursuing a degree in business, economics, accounting, or a related field.
