Position Summary

  • Employment Status: Full Time
  • Hours of Work: Normal hours of work will be Monday - Friday. Evenings and work on weekends may be required based upon operational needs.
  • Location: Humber River Health, Wilson Site with occasional travel to Finch and Church site (as required).
  • Labour Group: Non-Union
  • Salary Range: $122,874.00 - $149,494.66

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Human Resources Operations to join our Human Resources Team. Reporting into the Director, Talent, Total Rewards, People Analytics, you will lead and direct the development and improvement of compensation strategies, programs, policies, and processes; design, implement, and manage the optimization of HR operations, systems, and tools. You will also be responsible to provide strategic leadership and oversight of talent acquisition processes and the Talent Acquisition and HR Specialist team, ensuring high quality, timely hiring outcomes that support organizational workforce needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design, implementation, and improvement of HR operational processes related to HR Operations including, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, analytics, and service delivery.
  • Develop centralized processes that enhance HR service delivery.
  • Provide strategic leadership for enterprise wide recruitment processes, ensuring efficient, equitable, and compliant hiring practices.
  • Lead, coach, and manage the recruitment team, including performance management, workload balancing, and capability development.
  • Support the development and administration of new or current compensation programs within authorized budgets and timelines (merit cycles, incentives, job evaluation, market reviews, etc.).
  • Lead complex total compensation programs in a multi union environment.
  • Oversee job creation and evaluation methodologies and standards.
  • Provide support in the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of HR technology strategy and related infrastructure.
  • Support the monitoring of workflows in partnership with HR, IS, and internal system users to ensure smooth operations.
  • Lead development and maintenance of standardized HR reporting practices.
  • Monitor accuracy of data interfaces and system data integrity.
  • Lead a data driven HR culture by identifying business challenges and developing analytic solutions.
  • Oversee methodologies, frameworks, and governance for HR metrics and reporting.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum 3 years leadership experience in a unionized environment
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Human Resources with at least 5 years of experience in compensation, benefits, and HRIS management
  • Thorough knowledge of compensation principles and practices, payroll procedures, CRA guidelines, and benefits administration required
  • Certified Compensation Professional, Certified Benefits Professional or Project Management Professional designation an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications
