**Title:**Yard and Shop Hand
**Location:**Leduc, AB
**Job Type:**Full-time
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Yard and Shop Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:
- Picking up parts from suppliers/dealers and delivering them to our shop.
- Interacting with various vendors.
- Washing, vacuuming, and detailing heavy equipment, rig shacks, and light vehicles.
- Shop and yard cleaning/general housekeeping (sweeping, washing, tidying, etc.).
- Loading and unloading various pieces of equipment and items.
- Fueling vehicles.
- General shop and yard laborer duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Prior wash bay experience is an asset.
- Prior laborer experience in a shop setting is an asset.
- Prior parts running experience is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is required.
- Acceptable driving abstract is required.
- Pre-Employment Alcohol and Drug Screening Test
- Be an adaptable, safety-conscious team player with great communication skills.
- Frequently lifting, kneeling, bending, and moving around the shop and yard.
- Long periods of standing.
- Ability to follow directions to work in a busy shop in a safe manner.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and repetitive working environment.
- Ability to work alone.
