Job Summary

The Warehouse Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse floor operations to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate handling of inventory, order fulfillment, and distribution activities. This role supervises warehouse associates, coordinates workflow on the floor, and ensures productivity targets and quality standards are consistently met. Experience supervising a distribution or conveyor line is considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse associates on the floor
• Monitor order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving processes
• Ensure workflow efficiency and proper staffing across warehouse zones
• Provide direction, training, and support to warehouse staff
• Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations
• Monitor productivity, accuracy, and performance metrics
• Troubleshoot operational issues and resolve workflow bottlenecks
• Coordinate with management, logistics, and inventory teams to meet operational targets
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment
• Conduct shift briefings and communicate operational priorities to staff
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory movement, and productivity

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred
• Experience supervising adistribution line or conveyor system is an asset
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in warehouse operations
• Forklift certification is an asset
