Key Responsibilities

• Follow all internal and provincial safety policies and standards.
• Review Work Orders daily, execute and document tasks in the ERP Maintenance system.
• Participate actively in daily department meetings.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks as scheduled; generate Work Orders for any additional required repairs.
• Review and recommend improvements to PM tasks and failure modes.
• Follow Equipment Stores procedures for obtaining parts.
• Contact suppliers for technical support or part clarification when needed.
• Maintain a clean workspace and participate in weekly shop cleaning schedules.
• Keep tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Maintain up-to-date equipment documentation in both physical and electronic formats.
• Communicate effectively with the incoming shift to ensure proper handoff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Certified Industrial Electrician (Red Seal)
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation
• Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs, perform repetitive movements, climb stairs/ladders, and stand for extended periods
