About The Role In this support role you will be responsible for working with Consultants, Account Executives and Account Managers, to service client accounts with administrative and support functions. The position requires support in the day-to-day account management for a specific set of clients and entails a great deal of verbal, electronic and other written communications.

The coordinator should be developing relationships with internal stakeholders, carrier contacts and clients and working proactively to effectively and efficiently deliver services to clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist Account Manager in preparing insurance company proposal requests and spread sheeting proposals, benefits and rates
  • Gains exposure to clients and carrier contacts; attends meetings and calls
  • Assist Account Teams in their preparation for client meetings by reviewing presentations for grammar, verification of rates and benefits and ensuring formatting is appropriate.
  • Supportive role for enrollments administration, amendments, carrier transfers, and new business
  • Coordinate client mailings, or communications related to enrollment
  • Assists in research of questions regarding benefits and vendor/carrier products and services.
  • Answers administrative questions from clients and/or insurance company personnel such as claims or billing and eligibility questions
  • Reviews client documents and summary of benefits coverage for accuracy
  • Creates and maintain client files in accordance with office procedures, maintain client data (Salesforce), assemble enrollment materials for clients.

What You Bring

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including business writing skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail including strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize/manage workload under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously but also able to collaborate well with team
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
