Job summary
Reporting to the Media Performance and E-Commerce Director, the E-commerce Growth Manager is responsible for accelerating growth and optimizing the performance of the company's digital ecosystem. Data-driven, they lead a team of experts to continuously improve the online experience, conversion rates, and business results. They play a central role in conducting experiments, optimizing product visibility, and ensuring the catalog and search function run smoothly. Their goal is to maximize conversion, basket size, and customer lifetime value while providing a seamless and engaging digital experience at every point of contact with consumers.
Your mission at Legault Group :
Comprehensive optimization of our e-commerce sites to maximize conversion, shopping cart size, frequency, margin, and revenue, including:
Conversion optimization and experimentation
- Leading a testing program (A/B, multivariate) to optimize home pages, user journeys, and payment processes
- Deploy a CRO roadmap aligned with business priorities
- Identify and correct friction points to maximize conversion and average order value;
Research and catalog
- Optimize internal search to ensure product visibility and relevance;
- Manage catalog structure and enrichment to drive traffic and conversion;
- Work with merchandising and product teams to align the catalog with customer needs and promotional priorities;
Personalization and AI
- Collaborate with IT and product teams to deliver personalized experiences;
- Leverage artificial intelligence, data, and advanced tools to improve search, merchandising, and recommendations;
Monitoring and analysis
- Define and track conversion, search, and catalog KPIs;
- Set up dashboards and share best practices across banners;
Leadership and collaboration
- Supervise a team of three specialists by setting clear priorities;
- Collaborate with IT, media, loyalty, and marketing teams to align initiatives;
- Ensure the effective implementation of the strategic roadmap.
Profil
Profile seeked :
- More than 7 years of experience in e-commerce optimization, digital merchandising, or performance marketing (experience in retail/e-commerce is an asset);
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, e-commerce, or a related field;
- Proven experience in conversion rate optimization, on-site testing, and search/catalog management;
- Strong analytical skills and expertise in using tools such as GA4, testing platforms (Optimizely, Google Optimize, etc.) and site search engines;
- Practical experience with A/B testing, personalization, site research, and digital merchandising best practices;
- Ability to translate data and insights into concrete improvements;
- Proven experience in budget management and optimization, with a focus on ROI and efficiency;
- Excellent leadership skills, ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a team while promoting growth and accountability.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is required, as you will be called upon to interact regularly with clients, partners, and employees across Canada in both official languages.
