About The Role:

As the Manager of Learning and Accountability, you will develop and implement programs to increase staff knowledge and competencies through various learning and accountability approaches. You will develop and resource learning programs and deliver and demonstrate best practices in achieving adult learning. You will be a team player who can align organizational goals and achieve business outcomes, foster strong relationships within the ministry, while improving teams, services and outcomes.

To be successful in this position, you will have comprehensive knowledge of effective and innovative adult learning methodologies and strategies, be a leader with a demonstrated ability to understand and respond to multiple demands; be proficient in developing and maintaining professional relationships with seniors managers and staff; be results oriented and accountable with the ability to exercise sound judgment in a continuously changing environment; and have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of income assistance or similar programs would be an asset.

Qualifications:

Typically, the successful candidate will have significant management and leadership experience and will have obtained the knowledge and abilities required for this position through a university degree(s) in Education, Adult Education, or a related field and experience in designing and delivering adult learning.
