Overview Reporting to the Senior Manager, Residential Marketing, the Marketing Intern will support the Residential Marketing team with day-to-day coordination and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include assisting in the creation of assets for residential events and communications, supporting reputation management initiatives, organizing and uploading marketing assets, and maintaining and updating design catalogues.
Responsibilities Relationship Development
Develop and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a liaison between Centurion and its partners and suppliers. Ensure that a high level of client satisfaction is achieved through consistent attention to Centurion's Vision, Mission, and Values.
Ongoing Residential Operations
Support the development of marketing materials using Canva, including assets for residential events, marketing collateral, and print materials. Provide communications support by assisting with graphic updates, design edits, and basic copy development. Assist with reputation management initiatives by responding to online reviews, auditing Google Business Profiles, and implementing profile updates. Maintain and organize marketing assets by uploading files to the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. Support the upkeep of marketing catalogues, including swag, move-in kits, signage, and printed materials. Provide coordination support for ad hoc residential marketing initiatives and day-to-day team activities.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a post-secondary education within the Marketing or similar field;
- Self-starter; highly motivated and able to take the initiative required to achieve set goals and objectives;
- Strong project management skills, able to oversee a task from start to finish with little guidance and supervision;
- Detail-oriented, able to resolve problems using relevant information, thinking and practical judgement;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Excellent organizational skills, with a strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once;
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas effectively to both individuals and groups;
- Proficiency in Canva for creating and editing basic marketing and event-related design assets. Experience with any other design tools, such as the Adobe Creative Suite, is considered an asset;
- Experience with project management tools, specifically Asana, considered an asset;
- Excellent command of MS Office products: Word, Power Point, Excel.
