Position Overview
Autodesk is seeking a motivated and process-oriented Privacy Intern to join our Trust team. The Trust team at Autodesk leads our efforts in security, privacy, resilience, and trusted AI. We are tasked with trust compliance and risk management, ensuring that our practices uphold the highest standards of integrity and accountability. This position will play a crucial role in documenting privacy requirements in compliance with new international regulations and supporting the development of new processes to enhance our privacy engagement efforts.
Responsibilities

Privacy Documentation: Collaborate with Legal and Privacy Advisors to understand the requirements of emerging international privacy regulations. Ensure up-to-date and comprehensive documentation of privacy standards and compliance requirements

Process Development: Support the creation and improvement of processes to boost privacy engagement organization wide. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency with privacy standards and practices

Regulatory Analysis: Stay current with global privacy regulations and provide analysis on how these may impact Autodesk’s operations and processes

Policy Support: Support the creation and maintenance of internal privacy policies, guidelines, and training materials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Data Protection: Assist with Privacy impact and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with the legal, IT, and compliance teams to ensure that privacy requirements are understood and effectively implemented across Autodesk

Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations to communicate privacy requirements, processes, and compliance status to internal stakeholders and leadership
Minimum Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Law, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
-
Basic understanding of global privacy regulations (such as GDPR, CCPA)

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong organizational and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience or coursework related to data privacy or compliance

Familiarity with privacy risk assessment methodologies

Experience in regulatory research and documentation
About the Canada Internship Program
The 2026 Canada Internship program runs for 16 weeks (January 5th – April 24th or May 4th – August 21st). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. Our internships align with Autodesk’s Flexible Workplace approach, which is designed to meet the needs of our business while providing flexibility in support of office, remote and hybrid work preferences.
