Position: Agile Scrum Lead Duration: 24 months assignment (contract) Client Location: Regina SK (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday) Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)
Note on Assignment Type This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
About the Engagement Akkodis is seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Lead to support multiple Data & Analytics product teams. This role is focused on enabling Agile delivery excellence by facilitating Scrum practices, driving team cadence, and supporting continuous improvement. The Scrum Lead will partner closely with Product Owners, analytics developers, and business stakeholders to ensure effective backlog management, sprint readiness, and predictable delivery outcomes. This role does not include direct delivery ownership or people management responsibilities but plays a critical role in ensuring Agile discipline and team performance across 1–4 concurrent teams.
Scope Facilitate Agile delivery across multiple Data & Analytics product teams Enable effective Scrum ceremonies and sprint execution Support backlog refinement and prioritization with Product Owners Coordinate across teams to manage dependencies and delivery alignment.
Assignment Deliverables Facilitation of all Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) Well-maintained and prioritized backlogs in Azure DevOps Clear and achievable sprint commitments Regular communication of sprint progress, risks, and impediments.
Expertise Required Must Have: 2+ years of experience functioning as a Scrum Master or Agile Lead in a delivery environment Proven experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps (Boards, backlogs, sprint tracking) Experience managing Agile backlogs in collaboration with Product Owners Ability to support multiple concurrent teams and manage competing priorities Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Nice to Have: Experience driving Agile maturity and continuous improvement Understanding of data delivery challenges (data dependencies, pipeline orchestration, data quality considerations).
