Role Description: This is a remote, contract role for a Videographer / Editor. The Videographer / Editor will plan, shoot, and edit video content for marketing campaigns, social media, and other digital channels. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with stakeholders to understand project objectives, setting up and operating cameras and lighting, capturing high-quality footage, and editing videos with appropriate pacing, sound, graphics, and color correction. The role also involves organizing media files, maintaining project timelines, and delivering final assets in required formats. The Videographer / Editor is expected to work independently, communicate proactively, and adapt to changing creative needs.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Shooting Video, including planning, capturing, and organizing footage. Candidates should possess practical skills in Camera Operation and working with different Camera types, including setting exposure, focus, and framing. Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Lighting for video, including setting up and adjusting lights to achieve consistent visual quality. Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic motion graphics is beneficial. Strong sense of visual storytelling, composition, and sound design, with attention to detail and quality control. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment. Relevant portfolio showcasing videography and editing work; prior experience in digital content or marketing environments is a plus.
