Medicine Hat College is seeking a dynamic, collaborative and motivated Regional Coordinator to join our Pathways: Adult Learning Foundation team. This is a part-time contract that requires frequent travel and in-person meetings within three regions.
A little about the role:
The Regional Coordinator will play a key role in expanding adult foundational learning across three diverse regions. This role is ideal for someone who excels at building partnerships, launching new initiatives, and supporting teams in delivering impactful programming. Reporting to the Manager – Pathways to Success, the Coordinator will help drive the program’s growth, sustainability, and alignment with community needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Community Engagement
- Program Development
- Funding & Resources
- Team Leadership
- Administrative & Operational Support
- Communication & Collaboration
Details:
As a successful applicant you'll have:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, Social Development, or a related field.
- Experience in adult education, community development, or nonprofit coordination.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly for in-person meetings and community engagement.
- Knowledge of CALP or similar foundational learning programs and grant writing/funding experience is an asset.
Term of Appointment: 08-Sept-2025 to 30-June-2026
Hours of Work: 22 hours per week; flexible schedule
Wage Rate: $32.76 gross per hour inclusive of vacation and statutory holiday pay
