Year Round- Full Time With Health And Dental Benefits Annual Salary starting at $72,000 WHAT WILL I BE DOING? The Manager, Food and Beverage sets the cultural tone that creates revolutionary guest experiences while uniting their team around purpose and fun. They will ensure exceptional guest experience through effective menu planning and adhering to operational standards, while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment for employees.
This role will round out a leadership team of three Food and Beverage Managers who run our base lodges, restaurants & bars, and banquet operations. While the focus will be on leading banquet operations, the incumbent will provide leadership in all day-to-day food and beverage operations that include both indoor and outdoor venues, restaurant and bar outlets, as well as group conferences in our event spaces.
- Coaching and mentoring employees to unite them around purpose and fun and creating a culture of productivity, high quality, accuracy, and revolutionary service experiences to our guests
- Selecting passionate and talented people and execute training and development that enables the team to provide revolutionary guest experiences
- Fostering a culture of collaboration, fun, and continuous learning across departments.
- Leading the charge in Food and Beverage excellence; partner with the team to create fresh, unforgettable menus, and oversee loss prevention and inventory management.
- Collaborating with the team to plan and execute memorable events.
- Contributing to budgeting and scheduling to keep operations running efficiently and profitably. Ensure financial goals are met—and celebrate with your team when they are!
- Representing Blue Mountain with pride in interactions with suppliers, partners, and the wider community.
- Championing compliance, health, and safety standards and culture.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Natural leadership skills with passion for developing people and building strong teams.
- College or University level training in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years supervisory or management experience in Food Services or Banquet Operations
- Proven track record of maintaining operation costs within acceptable levels.
