Small Business Manager
RFNOW Inc. is seeking applications from motivated individuals interested in joining our Sales Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving small business sales across Manitoba and Saskatchewan for RFNOW. This role focuses on acquiring new small business customers, managing key community relationships, expanding market presence, and delivering revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. The Small Business Manager will work closely with marketing, operations, and customer support teams to ensure the success of the channel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
- Prospect, qualify, and convert new small business customers for internet, Wi-Fi, managed networks, and related digital services.
- Manage a high-activity sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring data accuracy and timely follow-ups.
- Conduct product presentations, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities with small business owners and decision-makers.
- Build brand awareness in assigned territories through networking, community involvement, business associations, and local events.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and recommend product or pricing improvements.
- Develop partnerships with chambers of commerce, business networks, and local organizations to increase visibility and lead generation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for small business clients throughout the sales process to ensure smooth onboarding.
- Collaborate with customer service and technical teams to support installation, resolve issues, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Foster long-term relationships to support retention, referrals, and upsell opportunities.
- Work with marketing to execute regional campaigns, promotional activities, and targeted outreach.
- Provide feedback to product and operations teams on service performance, customer needs, and competitive gaps.
- Coordinate with field technicians and provisioning teams to ensure timely service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in telecommunications, technology, or related service industries.
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of internet connectivity, networking basics, and business communication solutions (training provided if needed).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships with small business owners and community stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently with limited supervision.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
