As an IT Technician working in the Operational Support team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a pivotal role in understanding the technical needs of your team members and providing effective solutions to support business needs. In supporting our team members working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will ensure that your co-workers have the best available IT support and solutions needed to get the job done.

What you will do:
Provide strategic and creative IT support and problem-solving services for both our office and field users.

Effectively test, install and configure all of our IT equipment and computer hardware.

You have a knack for problem solving and troubleshooting various technology equipment.

Act as the go-to resource as it relates to any system setups including printers, copy machines, phones, computers, and internet connections.

Maintain a meticulous inventory of all local equipment. You know where and with whom our resources are at all times.

You support the setup and updates of workstations including servers and routers.

Security is of utmost importance. You take great pride in ensuring the security and privacy of our networks and computer systems at all times.

This role could be for you if you have:
A diploma in computer technology or related field.

10+ years of experience working in a similar role and have a love for technology.

Strong experience working within a Windows environment.

Bilingualism in both French and English.

Flexibility to travel to various sites within the city.
Must be able to obtain a Government of Canada Secret Level Clearance.
Successful candidate must have a valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
