The B2B E-Commerce Manager will be leading the growth of across channels like student & corporate aggregators, direct employee purchase program( EPP), B2B partnerships & more. The incumbent must be strategic, logical and detail oriented in nature while being proactive and personable. The ideal candidate should also have experience in eCommerce, with new business development in the B2B space, working with HR departments and setting up new process.
In parallel, the incumbent will support divisional ad-hoc requests pertaining to online related activities by working with all levels of the organization to complete the requests on time.
The Manager, E Commerce is required to work closely with many key stakeholders across the organization and is also able to work with minimal supervision to manage all required tasks.
Role and Responsibilities
- Market Research: Identify Total Available Market, Potential account list, Competitor and Industry benchmark.
- EPP Account development: Support B2B account reps to launch new EPP accounts; Launch new EPP programs with aggregator partners.
- EPP Business strategy & Planning: Develop short to long term growth strategy and plans.
- Project management: Lead development of unique and differentiated offering projects for EPP accounts.
- Account set-up & develop new business: Manage and own an entire account on-boarding process with the support of B2B account reps, including contract negotiation, site development, and on-boarding documentation.
- Product lifecycle management: Manage new product launches, End of Life models, pricing and promotion on EPP sites.
- Manage and develop a promotional plan: Develop promotional calendars and proposals to drive EPP business working with product managers and manage all of the internal approvals.
- Work with the marketing and legal teams to develop creatives and legal terms & conditions for offers and promotions with price/promotion manager.
- Work with the marketing team and the performance marketing manager to implement the marketing strategy effectively.
- Work with EPP partners to communicate promotions and deploy marketing materials.
- Work with digital marketing team to execute to maximize sellout with paid/affiliates/CRM marketing.
- Monitor and analyze sales trends, traffic, conversion, ROI, areas of improvement, etc. and report on a regular basis.
- Perform and assist the operations team on sell-out forecast and site operation monitoring.
- Fulfill regular reporting requirements and ad-hoc reports when necessary.
- Work with Hybris platform team to manage B2B Contents & accuracy.
- Track, summarize and report on online performance (sales, page views, conversion rates, etc.) on a regular basis to evaluate return on investments.
- Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to both internal stakeholders and HQ.
Skills and Qualifications
Requirements
Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing/Economics or related field from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience in the retail/consumer electronics industry.
Knowledge:
- MS Office suite required; strong Excel & Power Point skills.
- Knowledge of ERP such as SAP is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (Verbal & Written).
- Strong data analytical skills; strong financial and business acumen.
- Dynamic, motivating, and entrepreneurial-minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and deadlines.
- The ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with multiple levels within and outside the company.
- The ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple assignments and projects.
- The ability to work in a team environment to identify and achieve team project goals and results, including the completion of assignments within established time frames.
Experience:
- 5+ years in eCommerce, business development and/or B2B sales/marketing experience required.
- Proven track record managing pipeline generation.
- Experience in consumer electronics would be an asset.
