About the role

Reporting to the Product Management team, the Business Intelligence and Data Analyst transforms data into actionable insights to support CGI's Payroll Service Center (PSC) business strategy. He or she designs and maintains dashboards, analyzes customer and market data, and makes recommendations based on these analyses. In collaboration with the product team, he or she helps guide internal decisions and participates in the preparation of presentations for various internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that the information conveyed is reliable and relevant.

Your future duties and responsibilities

DATA ANALYSIS AND UTILIZATION

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate their business needs into tailored analytical solutions.

  • Design and maintain automated dashboards and analytical tools to track performance, trends, and customer behavior.

  • Produce clear and reliable analyses by integrating and cross-referencing data from multiple sources.

  • Act as a trusted expert on customer data.

  • Implement and oversee quality control and data integrity mechanisms to ensure the reliability of deliverables.

  • Document analysis methodologies and processes to ensure traceability and reproducibility of analyses.

COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE

  • Produce comparative analyses, presentation documents, and competitor profiles.

  • Participate in the implementation of the overall competitive intelligence strategy, including the identification of strategic intelligence topics, collection tools, information sources, and deliverables.

  • Make strategic recommendations based on analysis of market data, competitors, and customer profiles.

SURVEYS

  • Analyze and understand customer profiles, their level of satisfaction, and their feedback on the product, pricing, and services.
  • Exploit and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from customer feedback, then disseminate the findings to guide internal strategies and priorities.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills

  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI or equivalent)

  • Ability to communicate complex results clearly and concisely to different audiences

  • Good understanding of IT concepts such as data management

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, combined with 5 years of experience in marketing analytics and business intelligence, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment

  • Knowledge of payroll, human resources, and time management would be an asset

  • Knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong intellectual curiosity, marked aptitude for analyzing and synthesizing information

  • Proven interpersonal skills and collaborative spirit

  • Excellent written communication skills in both French and English

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60 000–$115 000. This role is an existing vacancy.
