Job Description We’re looking for a Logistics Analyst to join our dynamic team at TJX Canada! In this role, you’ll play a key part in optimizing shipping and delivery performance between Carriers and Stores, while crafting efficient delivery schedules for holidays and special events. What You’ll Do

  • Monitor transportation delivery performance between Stores and Carriers and provides suggestions on improving transportation efficiencies and effectiveness; ensures Carrier issues are addressed and escalated as needed to Management
  • Responsible for collaborating and communicating with internal and external stakeholders (Home Office, Distribution Services, Stores, Loss Prevention, Regional Leadership, Vendors and Carriers) for new store openings and to ensure smooth execution of Store delivery programs
  • Develops and organizes Store delivery schedules and transportation for holidays and special events (e.g. Charity events, advertising events and conferences)
  • Review delivery and shipping performance trends analyzing shipping and delivery data, interpreting and identifying trends (opportunities, risks) by creating, delivering reports (key performance indicators, operational activity reports, carrier scorecard etc.) including making recommendations for Management review and consideration

About You

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Logistics, Distribution Service & Supply Chain experience and general transportation knowledge is an asset
  • Minimum post-secondary degree in related field or equivalent experience; CITT designation is an asset.
  • Customer service skills including efficiently and effectively responding to inquires or resolving any conflicts/problems that might arise
  • Adapts quickly to the changing requirements and needs of business
  • Ability to influence business partners, to build and maintain collaborative relationships
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to build cross- functional relationships
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills including analysis of information (i.e. requirements, description of problems) and be able to provide solutions to effectively resolve issues
  • Ability to work independently; excellent time management skills with ability to estimate time required to complete projects; follow up on assignments, and keep appropriate team members up to date and aware of progress
  • Good organizational and project management skills including structured project methodology (i.e. determining needs, researching existing programs, etc.); preparing and maintaining detailed development plans for projects; determining project specifications; understanding and applying principles of project control to launch and manage new initiatives and innovations
  • Investigative seeker, innovative thinker to continually add value and help achieve business results
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office applications

Salary Range: $60,082.50-$84,115.50 /year *This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
