Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. The Role

On behalf of the General Manager, this role will lead the Integrated Site Schedule group to coordinate activities between site operations and capital projects. You will identify and resolve conflicts in real time, by leading, working with schedulers to develop the site schedule and lead the management of the scheduling process.

In this role, you will:

  • work with schedulers to develop and lead the daily, weekly and monthly scheduling process at site.
  • understand the strategic objectives of Key Lake and coordinate site and projects to deliver.
  • interact with and extract the truth from senior people in projects and operations to make scheduling decisions.
  • navigate project issues and challenges that are constant and ever changing using analytical thinking and problem solving to come to a solution.

Required:

  • University degree in business, engineering or related field.

  • 8-15 years of relevant work experience.

  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered.

  • Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.

Recommended:

  • Experience with scheduling software (ex. P6 or MS Project).

  • Experience working in an industrial site scheduling process or group.
