enCompass is looking for a full-time Shipper/Receiver to join our team at our Port Coquitlam office.

What You'll Be Doing

Responsibilities of the Shipper/Receiver include both hands-on warehouse responsibilities with office-based purchasing support. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

Shipping & Receiving (Primary Function)

• Receive incoming materials, supplies, and equipment; verify contents against packing slips and purchase orders.

• Inspect shipments for damage, discrepancies, or quality issues; report findings promptly.

• Process outbound shipments, prepare packing lists, labels, and shipping documentation.

• Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers and freight companies.

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, certified.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving and shipping area.

• Ensure all inventory movements are accurately reflected in the ERP Management System.

• Assist with regular cycle counts and year-end inventory audits.

Purchasing Support

• Assist the purchasing department with data entry of purchase orders and supplier confirmations.

• Track open purchase orders and follow up with vendors on delivery dates, shortages, or delays.

• Support sourcing activities by gathering quotes or supplier information as requested.

• Communicate with internal departments (production, maintenance, warehouse) regarding material status.

• Maintain vendor records and update pricing, lead times, and product information in the system.

Who You Are

You are an enthusiastic, organized and detail-oriented individual who wants to work with a fun, dynamic crew of people on a daily basis.

• Minimum 2 to 3  years of experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, or a similar role.

• Experience supporting purchasing or administrative supply-chain functions is an asset.

• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment.

• Knowledge of shipping procedures, freight carriers, and logistics best practices.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

Working Conditions

• A combination of warehouse and office work.

• Exposure to warehouse environment: noise, temperature variations, material handling.

• Occasional overtime during peak periods.

• This position is not eligible for hybrid work schedule.
