About the role
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM, excluding professional development days, winter, spring and summer breaks.
Westmont Montessori School is seeking a reliable, caring, and organized Lunch Attendant to support our lunch program. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a school environment, values teamwork, and takes pride in creating a welcoming, safe space for students during lunchtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily lunch service, including setup, serving, and cleanup.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary cafeteria environment.
- Support students with lunch routines in a friendly and respectful manner.
- Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure smooth lunch operations.
Qualifications
- Food Safe Level 1 is a must.
- Criminal Record Check is a must.
- Experience working in a school, kitchen, or customer‑service setting is an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to lift and carry light to moderate items (tables, bins, etc.).
