About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Installation Estimator to join a growing and well-established HVAC organization. This role offers a unique blend of estimating, client relationship management, project coordination, and field involvement.
This is not a desk-only position. You'll spend time meeting with clients, conducting site visits, assessing project requirements, preparing estimates, and working closely with installation teams to ensure projects are successfully executed from proposal through completion.

Key Responsibilities
Estimating & Proposal Development Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for commercial HVAC installation and retrofit projects Review engineering specifications, mechanical drawings, and project documentation Perform material take-offs and scope reviews Develop project pricing and prepare tender submissions Manage opportunities from initial inquiry through final proposal Site Assessments & Client Engagement Conduct site visits throughout the Lower Mainland Meet with clients to understand project requirements and recommend solutions Assess equipment replacement, retrofit, and installation opportunities Build strong relationships with property managers, strata councils, contractors, consultants, and building owners Follow up on quotations and support business development efforts Project Coordination & Execution Support Collaborate with Installation Managers and field technicians to determine project scope, labour requirements, timelines, and installation strategies Coordinate materials, subcontractors, equipment rentals, cranes, rigging, and other project resources Support project handoffs to operations and installation teams Help ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and profitably
Qualifications
3+ years of estimating experience within the commercial HVAC industry Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and installation practices Experience preparing estimates, take-offs, and tender submissions Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills Experience with estimating, project management, or service management software is an asset Hydronics and plumbing experience is considered a strong asset Valid Class 5 Driver's License Ability to travel to project sites throughout the Lower Mainland
