I. Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Regional Operations Manager, the Driver Route Reclaim

is responsible for driving the company vehicle in order to collect the customer products. In addition, to visiting customer sites, this position will focus on scanning, sorting and processing unsaleable and recalled consumer products for our clients as directed.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Manages assigned routes in an efficient manner, while ensuring customers are serviced in a timely manner and to their satisfaction
  • Collects required data with handheld scanning devices, records required information legibly on route sheets and on required daily documents
  • Communicates professionally and effectively with customers, co-workers and Managers
  • Loads/unload boxes on pallets and truck for delivery to food bank or warehouse daily
  • Follow the written instruction which contain route and client information
  • Ability to perform simple math calculations
  • Interacts professionally with various levels of internal/external customers, while portraying a strong professional appearance and attitude at all times and in all situations
  • Completion of logbooks and understanding of hours of service regulations.

Performs Pre and Post Trip Inspections

  • Completion of required reports and strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

III. Qualifications

A. Required Qualifications

 

  • 2 years of experience, preferably in driving vehicles from at least 3 ton and route management
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • All CMV/CDL drivers must be able to obtain a medical card by a certified medical examiner

B. Preferred Qualifications

 

  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
  • Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class B

☒ Field: This job operates in both inside garage, shop or gas plant conditions as well as in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity.

This role is designated as safety sensitive and will require the successful

candidate to strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols. As part of the ongoing employment requirements, the successful candidate may be subject to drug and alcohol testing—including pre‑employment screening, post‑incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing—in accordance with government regulations and company policies.  

Pay: The expected base pay rate for this position is $21.75/h. This rate

represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
