We look forward to you joining our team! Job Description: Manage parts procurement and allocation for the D17/D18 service teams, ensuring timely support for field operations. Provide shop parts coverage and maintain inventory availability to support ongoing service activities. Collaborate across departments and teams to ensure efficient parts distribution, communication, and workflow execution. Backorder Management, Parts ticketing escalations with CAT, Used Parts Sourcing Exceptional customer service and collaboration with all facets of client’s organization First point of contact for the customer to inquire on piece parts orders Coordinate with Field Technicians and Response Supervisors to identify, source, and order parts required for service and repair work orders. Qualifications: Journeyperson parts certification coupled with previous parts, warehouse, front counter, sales experience and Caterpillar product knowledge A high performance, positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships; ability to deal with difficult situations and potentially unhappy customers Clearly demonstrate enthusiasm about their work and must be able to function effectively and purposefully in a dynamic environment Capable of working with minimal supervision Computer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experience Experience with SIS, AIMS, Antares, SIMSi, InfoCast, Lawson M3, Landmark Smart Office, M3 Sales Automation Industry experience in the following areas would be considered strong assets to a successful candidacy: mining, heavy construction and technology products. Important Details: This position is based in Edmonton, AB at our D17/D18 Facility on a 5x2 shift. (Monday-Friday) Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement.
