Join Us and What We'll Accomplish Together! What You'll do:
- Evaluate language disorders (oral and written) and speech disorders to determine the speech therapy treatment and intervention plan for children ranging in ages from 0 to 18
- Work directly with the child, his or her family, and daycare or school environment (speech therapy follow-up)
- Work with other members of the team if necessary and participate in multi-professional exchanges
- Provide training to parents, to the daycare or school and to the early childhood educators
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
- Perform all other tasks as required
- Possibility of participating in special projects outside the region
What You Need:
- In progress of completing a master’s degree in speech therapy
- Experience with preschool- and school-age children (elementary school and high school)
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to manage administrative records
- Proficiency in written language disorders and stuttering (asset) Ability to do administrative follow-up and work with computers and new technologies
