About the role
The Sales Analyst plays a key role in turning data into decisions that drive growth. This position supports the sales organization by analyzing performance metrics, uncovering trends, and delivering insights that help shape strategy and improve results. Working closely with Sales Leadership, the Sales Analyst transforms complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that fuel revenue growth, enhance forecasting accuracy, and support the company’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports on revenue, gross margin, product performance, and customer retention.
- Analyze sales data vs. forecast, budget, and historical trends.
- Segment customers and identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities.
- Support territory and pipeline analysis, highlighting gaps and opportunities.
- Monitor pricing and margin trends, support pricing decisions.
- Assist in sales forecasting and budgeting.
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify trends and risks.
- Ensure CRM data accuracy; support user adoption and reporting best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years in sales operations, analytics, or similar role.
- Good excel skills (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Proficient with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to create interactive dashboards and meaningful reports.
- Good knowledge of CRM and ERP systems.
- Good analytical thinking.
- Data driven.
- Business acumen.
- Bilingual (French and English*), spoken and written. (*) This qualification is required as you will be interacting with partners, vendors, internal/external clients and/or staff across Canada on a regular basis.
