About the Position:

Hazelview is seeking a Co-op Student to join our Real Estate Investment Management team. We actively invest in commercial real estate asset classes globally, with a strong focus on Canada and the United States. This role offers hands-on exposure to real estate investing and is ideal for a student eager to gain experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The successful candidate will support the team across a range of initiatives while developing practical skills in analysis, research, and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Real Estate Investment Management team in evaluating potential acquisitions across North America, including assisting with property valuations, investment materials, and market research
• Assist with due diligence processes during property acquisitions and support ongoing monitoring of investment performance
• Contribute to asset management reporting requirements, including budgeting and periodic reporting
• Conduct research on market fundamentals across various real estate asset classes
• Provide support on ad hoc projects and assignments as required

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce, Real Estate, Finance, or a related program
• Previous internship or co-op experience in real estate, finance, or a related field is an asset but not required
• Strong interest in real estate investing and financial analysis

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn with a positive, “can-do” attitude

This co-op position offers an hourly rate in the range of $20–$25, based on skills, experience, and education.
