Role: Production Technician- Remount Box Mount
Location: 215 Apex St, Saskatoon
Work Schedule: Day Shift, Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm.

The Production Technician- Remount Box Mount
plays a critical role in the remount process by removing and mounting vehicle boxes from chassis to chassis. This role involves more advanced mechanical assembly, with opportunities for basic welding (training provided). Automotive or assembly experience is beneficial, as the role requires both disassembly and reassembly of critical vehicle systems.
As a Production Technician- Remount Box Mount, you will be able to:
- Remove box from old chassis and prepare chassis for disposal (cut/plug hoses, tie off systems, reinstall seats, minor electrical work for drivability)
- Mount ambulance box onto new chassis, secure, and align components
- Complete installation tasks such as replacing seats, mounting bumpers and runner boards, and tying in and recharging A/C systems
- Perform minor welding (steel welding, exhaust hangers, brackets) – training available
- Safely operate hand and power tools including drills, heat guns, impact tools, floor jacks, and both 2-post and 4-post hoists
- Work under vehicles when required for assembly and adjustments
Qualifications & Competencies
- Mechanical assembly experience required
- Automotive experience an asset
- Welding experience an asset (training provided)
- Experience with hand and power tools required
- Willingness to learn A/C system charging (training provided)
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs, kneel, crouch, and work underneath vehicles
