About the role
Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking a Technical Specialist to join our team. This position is based at our Edmonton, AB facility and offers benefits from day one.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $75000 - $94000 a year plus bonus.

##What you’ll do:
In this role you will support customers and channel partners on assigned product lines. You will be responsible for accurate specification interpretation, quotation generation, technical support, and timely communication with customers, channel partners and manufacturing personnel. You will identify opportunities, provide solutions and ensure follow-through to meet customer expectations. You will utilize a combination of technical knowledge and process tools to achieve goals while delivering customer solutions and developing strong relationships.
Customer Support– Provide technical support on electrical products, assemblies and services to customers and channel partners, including application and pricing assistance. Assist team members and channel partners on opportunity identification, quotation, order entry, production tracking and shipping.
Collaboration– Support team members with quotation follow-up and competitive activity reporting. Work with internal teams to communicate and understand product applications and pricing strategies.
Customer Relationships– Build relationships with customers, channel partners and internal personnel to enhance long term business growth. Prepare proposals based on customer requirements while meeting timeline expectations. Partner with channel to create focus and enhance market reputation.
Digital Tools– Use pricing and process tools to complete competitive professional quotations.
##Qualifications:
Basic Required Qualifications:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Technologist or Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution or 309A Red Seal Electrician Ticket

Must be authorized to work in in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Requirements:
- Professional Engineering licence (P. Eng). or Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation
- Minimum 3 years of technical experience in the electrical industry
