Your task: In this role you will have the responsibility for the development and execution of the sales strategy and leading our Traded commodities team in charge of global and NEU commodities exporters and importers in our Direct Transport Sales team.

  • Creates, articulates and drives the local strategies for customers in the Direct Transport Sales segment
  • Leverages understanding of the local business environment to support development of the sales strategy
  • Maintains senior relationships with top accounts
  • Makes joint sales calls with sales representatives and channel managers
  • Ensures optimal activity management and account management to truly understand customers and their needs
  • Oversees forecasting and budgeting processes to align with business goals
  • Drives campaigns to generate a healthy pipeline and yield
  • Coach and drive sales team to sell and grow all products
  • Define and set targets for sales incentives together with Sales finance Monitors and drives Net promote score for clients and engagement across team

Your profile:

  • Professional experience in Sales business and knowledge of the market
  • Sales experience in the forwarding and logistics industry, ideally in the field of Direct Transport
  • Understanding of customer requirements and their concerns
  • High drive and hunger for strong result orientation
  • High pace profile in a collaborative manner
  • Service and customer orientation
  • Strong communication skills
  • Independent action as well as an entrepreneurial mindset and commitment
  • Preferably knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM tools
  • Empathetic personality with a well-groomed appearance and confident appearance
