The Opportunity

As Director, Business Development, you will lead our growth strategy within the automotive market. This is not a transactional sales role – it’s a strategic position with the autonomy to build, shape, and execute a comprehensive business development roadmap.

You will identify market opportunities, cultivate executive-level relationships, and close complex, high-value partnerships that align with our long-term vision.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Developing and executing a strategic business development plan aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Identifying and pursuing new revenue opportunities within the automotive and fleet industry
  • Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities,
  • Leading complex sales cycles from prospecting through negotiation and contract execution
  • Collaborating with Operations, Finance, Technology, and Executive Leadership to develop compelling, competitive solutions.
  • Negotiating agreements that support profitability and long-term partnership.
  • Providing accurate forecasting and reporting on pipeline performance and growth metrics.

What You Bring

  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in business development or sales
  • Proven success in closing complex deals
  • Experience within the automotive industry or related sector (preferred)
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to structure profitable agreements
  • Executive presence and exceptional relationship-building skills
  • A self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset with the discipline to execute
