Mission

Where would you fit in?

As a business Developer at Sonovision you will help take our business growth to the next level and share with new and current customers what makes us so special. The Business Developer will work on a variety of dynamic projects in industries such as aerospace, defense, transportation, and energy. The Business Developer will be involved from the start by identifying new customers to managing the customers' account. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share.

Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers with prospective and existing clients. Understand their needs and challenges to position our technical services effectively.

Solution Selling: Customize solutions to meet client requirements and differentiate our offerings from competitors.

Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitive activities. Leverage market insights to identify potential opportunities and mitigate risks.

Proposal Development: Collaborate with technical teams to develop compelling proposals, presentations, and bids. Ensure proposals are aligned with client expectations and company capabilities.

Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales targets.

Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline, track progress against targets, and provide accurate sales forecasts. Implement effective sales strategies to drive continuous pipeline growth.

Profile

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven track record (2+ years) in B2B sales preferably within the aerospace and defense industry, in technical services or solutions sales. Experience with complex sales cycles and large accounts is highly desirable.
  • An equivalent combination of education and work experience could be considered for this role.

Skills:

  • English mandatory, bilingual French considered an asset.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of technical services in aerospace and defense.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse businesses.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets.

Additional Information:

  • Travel: This role may require domestic and international travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Location: Montreal. Remote work options may be available based on business needs.
