Cigar Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s highest-grade uranium mine. The uranium produced at Cigar Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. The Role

Reporting to the process supervisor, your role will focus on ensuring the safe, effective and efficient operation of the Cigar Lake’s process areas. This entry-level role will provide you with the opportunity to learn and grow with Cigar Lake’s process team and is well suited for a motivated individual who wants to be involved in the day-to-day operations of the site.

In This Role, You Will

Operate circuits as per outlined procedures and guidelines. Identify, document, and report any maintenance concerns. Assist senior operators as required.

Required

grade 12 or equivalent; three to five years of mill or process operation work experience, preferably in the uranium industry; industrial water treatment experience; equivalent combination of education and experience considered; valid Class 5 driver’s license; ability to work independently and in a team environment; comfortable working on both surface and underground; and work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.

Recommended

previous experience in an industrial workplace or uranium mill; potable water treatment level 1 and level 2 certification; and wastewater treatment level 1 certification.
