Cambrian Credit Union is seeking a Loans Administrator to join our team. Please be advised that this position is internally referred to as Centralized Administrator II (Retail Credit).

As a key member of the Centralized Administration team, the Centralized Administrator II (Retail Credit) is responsible for the end-to-end administration and subject matter expertise for consumer and residential retail credit granting activities including funding, documentation, payouts, security registrations and discharges.

In the role of Centralized Administrator II (Retail Credit), you will:

  • Provide prompt and courteous service to all internal and external contacts according to defined policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for delivering high quality, accurate, compliant, and timely completion of operational requirements.
  • Subject matter expert on all retail and residential lending products and perfection of security positions knowledge and tasks.
  • Coordinate and process all required transactions while developing an expanded knowledge and experience in areas pertaining to consumer and residential retail credit granting activities including funding, documentations, payouts, security registrations and discharges.
  • Develop and maintain relationships to strengthen team effectiveness and communication, promote a culture of service excellence.
  • Engage in meaningful and effective communication with team members to drive performance and maintain a positive work environment.
  • As a Centralized Administrator II and subject matter expert in Retail credit & lending administration you readily assist both CAP and Branch employees as needed, using good judgment to make timely & sound decisions through identifying and understanding issues, priorities and opportunities.
  • Continually analyze areas for improvement, contribute ideas and to seek potential solutions to digitalize or streamline processes.

Your Education & Experience:

  • Minimum education level of Grade 12 or equivalent, with post-secondary education considered an asset.
  • Minimum two years office administration experience required preferably in loan administration environment and/or financial services.
  • Knowledge and experience working with credit documentation and processing preferred.
  • Proficient in PC applications of Outlook, Word & Excel.
  • Ability to work well in a diverse environment with multiple and often changing priorities.
