We are recruiting for a Winter Engineering and Development Student to join our team in Saint John, NB. This role offers hands-on experience in property development and project coordination across multiple Atlantic Canadian cities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting and updating the master plans for various buildings in Saint John, Moncton and Halifax using our project database.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining project documentation and digital files to support smooth project tracking and accessibility.
- Support project closeout by compiling and verifying required documentation.
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements and data for floor plan creation or updates.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure documentation is current and properly structured.
- Use AutoCAD software to assist in drafting or updating plans.
- Communicate site visit findings and observations to the project team.
- Provide general support for project development and database management as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Currently enrolled as a 2nd or 3rd year student in an Engineering, Architecture, or Construction-related program
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD
- Intermediate MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills
- Flexible and reliable
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Commitment to environmental, health, and safety standards
- Good written and oral communications skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Valid Driver’s Licens
- Willingness to occasionally travel to Moncton and Halifax with the project team
