The Recipe for Success: Role Summary Le Creuset is on the hunt for a permanent Graphic Designer as part of our Canadian team. We’re looking for someone who has a strong understanding of how design translates to web and print. As an integral member of our design and development team, you will work on a broad range of engaging projects – from designing POP collateral materials to designing innovative web experiences and maintaining brand consistency across various media.

Ingredients: Key Responsibilities What’s on your Daily Menu?

  • Create visually compelling designs that align with the Le Creuset brand identity and support marketing initiatives across digital and print platforms.
  • Develop and design digital, retail and sales marketing materials including social media graphics, web banners, email templates, animations, presentations, pricing signs, product knowledge tent cards, bag stuffers, outdoor signage, print collateral and any other tools.
  • Create the Le Creuset product catalogue, paying extra attention to details.
  • Produce quality work in fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and expectations for quality, creativity, and accuracy.
  • Prepare and optimize graphics for various platforms (products, packaging, web, mobile, print and more).
  • Work with other members within the marketing team to ensure briefs are well understood and ask questions for clarification if necessary.
  • Complete design projects as planned in the weekly Designers’ schedule.
  • Proofread and revise projects to produce accurate and high-quality final work.

What’s on your Seasonal Menu?

  • Organize, tag and review the local and international assets available to ensure consistency and accessibility on the Le Creuset Brand hub.
  • Packaging artwork creation, ensuring files are accurate and properly set up for printing
  • Occasional presence on photoshoots.
  • Occasional request to support packing and unpacking products for photoshoots.

The Perfect Blend: What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in graphic design, advertising, digital design, or any other related program.
  • Bilingual French and English (the candidate will have to communicate in English with our clients and English-speaking employees in Canada and abroad, including in the US)
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional design experience in corporate graphic design is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud. InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop are required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office. PowerPoint, and Word are required, Excel is preferred.
  • Experience with print design and know how to set up files for printing.
  • Strong knowledge of design principles.
  • Familiar with working within brand identity guidelines.
  • Ideation skills to come up with new ideas and concepts, creative thinking.
  • Good organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • A plus: experience with Adobe After Effects, with Web design and coding, and/or working with an email platform.
  • Knowledge of Mac environment.
